TRUMBULL MOBILE MEALS

Trumbull Mobile Meals is a community based service agency dedicated to providing home-delivered meals to Trumbull County residents who because of physical or mental limitations are unable to secure or prepare their regular or special diet. The program was founded in 1970 by the women of the Trumbull County Medical Society Alliance. The program is exclusive to Trumbull County.
Each year 550 volunteers prepare and deliver over 100,000 meals to Trumbull County residents.
Meals are offered Monday through Friday with subscribers receiving one or two meals per day depending on individual need. The meals are delivered directly to the home. Weekend meals are also available. The Meals, one hot and/or one cold are delivered ready to be eaten. Friday deliveries include extra meals for the weekend if needed. Preparation of all meals is overseen by registered dietitians.
Meal service plans are designed to meet each individual’s needs. Meal service is contingent upon an open space on a delivery route. A 24 hour waiting period may apply.
A nominal fee is charged for this service. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. 330-394-2538
